What's new, Pussycats? The My Hero Academia TV anime returns to Japanese airwaves with a new season beginning in April of 2018, and now additional cast members have been announced, including the Pussycats, a team of veteran heroes that specialize in wilderness rescue operations. The new cast members include:
Meiko Kawasaki as Mandalay.
Chisa Suganuma as Ragdoll.
Shinnosuke Ogami as Tora.
Serina Machiyama as Pixie-Bob.
And Michiru Yamazaki as Kouta Izumi.
The original My Hero Academia manga is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Viz Media. The 2 previous seasons of the My Hero Academia TV anime are streamed in North America by Funimation and Crunchyroll, who describe the series as follows:
Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal. But that’s not enough to stop him from enrolling in one of the world’s most prestigious hero academies.
